On fighting growing drugs (Highlights)

We carry on fighting growing drugs, like the fight of good over evil; where there's no reconciliation, there are no compromises and it won’t end until victory.

We fought drug dealers and distributors; we chased them away and drove them out of our universities, until prisons were filled with more than 2000 dealers and an unknown number of Lebanese since the Independence.

We destroyed over 120 million square meters of opium and poppy seed plantations, a destruction that was covered by international media.

We consider drug growing as a red line, notably at the level of social security keeping.

Social Security is, in fact, an integral part of national security that does not withstand tolerance or indifference.
