honoring the Lebanese Army

A cease-fire usually occurs between 2 states, not between the army and terrorists; in fact, the army adopts a clear position, revolving around handing over the wanted, dead or alive; if that does not occur, the camp will stay encircled.

The army staff and headquarters know how to deal with that; thus, this topic is out of negotiation, and I leave the security and military situation appreciation to the army, its command and staff.

Nahr-el-Bared observing states considered that the army was unable to wage that battle, and that the success ratio was close to 0%; our answer was that the difference between the Lebanese Army and the U. S. or British army in Iraq is that the LAF is Lebanon’s army, having besides it their people who are willing to fight for their country.
